What OverlapCheck is

OverlapCheck provides informational analysis of publicly available financial data: ETF holdings from official issuer files and SEC filings, and derived options metrics computed from end-of-day open interest. The free tools are provided as-is, for everyone, without an account.

Not investment advice

Nothing on this site is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security. Metrics like fund overlap, max pain, and gamma exposure are positioning context derived from public data under simplifying assumptions - they are not predictions. Do your own research; consider consulting a licensed financial advisor before making investment decisions.

Data accuracy

We compute from official sources and re-check them nightly, but issuers publish on different schedules and errors can occur upstream or in our processing. The data is provided without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Our methodology documents exactly how each number is computed.

Smart Alerts

Smart Alerts is a paid, human-reviewed monitoring service. Each monitor is confirmed by email - including what we will watch, how often, and the price - before it goes live, and nothing is charged before you accept. Alerts are informational notifications, not trading signals; delivery timing is best-effort and depends on upstream data publication.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no scraping at disruptive rates, no attempting to disrupt the site, no misrepresenting OverlapCheck content as your own or as financial advice from us.

Our content and social media

OverlapCheck publishes derived data and commentary on this site and on social platforms (including X and TikTok). You may share and quote it with attribution. It remains informational content, not advice, wherever it appears.
